Denver North couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Holy Family squad, losing by a score of 44-0 on Friday at @ Holy Family High School.
Calahan Carter led Holy Family’s passing attack with 254 yards through the air. Taylor Jones lead all Holy Family receivers with four receptions for 77 yards and one score. Benton Daniels got involved in the passing game as well, snagging six passes for 71 yards.
Holy Family’s ground attack was spearheaded by Trevin Johnson who tallied 77 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. Matt Mollendor added 62 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 7.8 yards per carry.
Denver North will play host to Skyview, while Holy Family will travel to play Frederick.
