Holyoke earned a win when they defeated Burlington 35-18 on Friday, Oct. 11.
Miles Sprague led Holyoke’s passing attack with 320 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns with no interceptions. Sprague also added one touchdown on the ground. Seth Watson contributed in the passing game as well, catching eight passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Holyoke also got 64 yards receiving from Luis Chafino in the contest.
Holyoke’s rushing attack was lead by Blake Mosenteen who ran for 98 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 7.5 yards per carry. Mosenteen also tacked on 145 receiving yards and one touchdown.
In addition to Michael Gutierrez’s effort, Taylor Scott lead the Burlington ground attack by gaining 65 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.9 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Holyoke heading to play Wray and Burlington taking on Limon.
