Del Norte couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Norwood squad, losing by a score of 52-6 on Friday.
Carson Gardner led Norwood’s passing attack with 84 yards through the air. Broc Joseph lead all Norwood receivers with three catches for 86 yards and one score.
Jamar Rankins lead the Norwood rushing game by accumulating 144 yards and four touchdowns in the contest, averaging 14.4 yards per carry. Christian Josephsen added 94 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 9.4 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Del Norte will stay home and play Sanford, while Norwood will travel to play Mancos.
