Steamboat Springs couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Palisade squad, losing by a score of 45-7 on Friday, Oct. 11 at Steamboat Springs High School, Stadium.

Palisade quarterback Cameron Tucker led the passing attack with 103 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns without an interception. Tucker also added 42 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Palisade’s leading receiver was Logan Harris, who caught three passes for 59 yards and two scores.

Franklin Barks spearheaded the Palisade ground game by gaining 71 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 14.2 yards per carry.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Palisade heading to play Glenwood Springs and Steamboat Springs taking on Battle Mountain.
