
Cannabidiol (CBD) isn’t just relegated to pot shops anymore.
The growing popularity of CBD as a herbal extract with much-touted is helping the product move out of dispensaries and into “general sales channels” across the United States. For evidence, just look at Boulder.
Paul Talbot, a digital marketing professional with expertise in holistic wellness, used CBD to help find relief from pain and anxiety. He began exploring the CBD market and in February, he launched an . Earlier this month, he opened a boutique store in downtown Boulder called Infused, A CBD Marketplace.
Infused is about helping people find what fits their lifestyle, Talbot said. But itap also about educating consumers.
“I want to provide a professional space to buy CBD products consumers can trust,” Talbot said.
Talbot isn’t the only one exploring the space, though. Analysts from Ի said that in 2018, 65% of the $1.9 billion spent on CBD products across the nation took place through licensed dispensary channels in states with legal cannabis programs.
