The Rockies have made some significant changes in their minor-league staffs.

Hill has been a key figure in the organization since 2004 and was the Triple-A manager for seven seasons at both Albuquerque and Colorado Springs. Hill served as a coach with the Rockies from 2007-12.

Also not returning are Double-A Hartford hitting coach Lee Stevens and low-A Asheville hitting coach Norberto “Paco” Martin.

Wilson would not elaborate, saying only that the three men “are not returning next year.”

Stevens worked for the Rockies for seven seasons: as hitting coach at rookie league Grand Junction from 2013-15 and 2017; at high-A Modesto in 2016; and at Hartford from 2018-19. Martin spent all three seasons of his tenure with the organization coaching at Asheville.
