Denver has set a new record high temperature for the day, reaching 77 degrees.
The National Weather Service reported that Denver broke the old record of 76 degrees, set in 1927. The new record, logged at 1:11, is 22 degrees above the normal high of 55.

The unseasonably warm weather is in stark contrast to the deep freeze the Denver area shivered through less than two weeks ago. The reading of 3 degrees Oct. 30 and 7 degrees Oct. 31 were record lows for those days, according to the weather service.
The record high for the month of November is , set in 2017.
The warm and sunny weather is expected to start cooling off Sunday, leading to colder temperatures later in the day, according to the weather service. Sunday’s high will be about 60 degrees and the overnight low could plunge to 22 degrees.
Monday could bring freezing drizzle and light now. The temperature is expected to reach only 30 degrees.
