8. Kansas City (7-4):A defense that had only six takeaways in the previous six games (2-4 record) had four against the Chargers on Monday. :Bye.

9. Houston (6-4):The AFC South will be a one-bid playoff participant, which means the Texans need to beat the Colts to split the season series. :vs. Indianapolis (Thursday).

10. Dallas (6-4):The Cowboys haven’t beaten a team that currently has a winning record. That won’t change this week. :at New England.

11. Indianapolis (6-4):The Colts’ 33-13 stomping of Jacksonville was their first game this year decided by more than seven points. Next: at Houston (Thursday).

18. Pittsburgh (5-5):Each Steelers loss is good news for Miami (which owns their first-round pick) and the Broncos (which owns their third-rounder) :at Cincinnati.
