Denverites can expect partly sunny skies and highs approaching 60 degrees Saturday, while the mountains prepare for a touch of snow later in the weekend.

Highs in Denver are forecasted to reach 57 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Early morning fog will persist in the Fort Collins and Greeley area, before giving way to partly cloudy skies.

Forecasters say a storm could hit the northern Colorado mountains on Sunday, with 2 to 5 inches expected from Vail to Steamboat Springs. The snow will not make much impact in metro Denver, NWS said.
