Welcome, Colorado, to your Elite Eight.

In a turn of events, no Aspen mountain has made it to the third round of our ultimate Colorado ski area championship. Vail took down Aspen Highlands, Telluride beat out Beaver Creek and Crested Butte bested Snowmass. (Aspen Mountain had fallen in the first round.) No word yet on how the mountain town is taking this blow.

This round is gearing up to have several heart-wrenching match-ups. Front Rangers will have to pick one of two nearby favorites as Arapahoe Basin, which beat Keystone last round, faces Copper Mountain. Vail and Telluride will go head-to-head, as well as Winter Park and Steamboat. A Crested Butte and Breckenridge matchup rounds out the quarterfinals.

Who will make it through to the semifinals? Only you can decide. Vote now.

Third-round voting closes Friday, Dec. 13, at noon. Vote on .
