Montrose lost by one touchdown in a 7-0 contest against Ponderosa on Friday at Montrose High School (Montrose, CO).

Ponderosa quarterback Jack Hanenburg led the passing attack with 77 yards through the air. Hanenburg also added 69 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Ponderosa’s leading receiver was Kolton Miller, who caught two passes for 36 yards.

Ponderosa’s rushing attack was lead by Cael Porter and his 64 yards on four carries.

Ponderosa will play host to Heritage, while Montrose will travel to play Aurora Central.
