A man who was crossing East Colfax Avenue in Aurora was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday, according to Aurora police.
The driver stayed at the scene after the crash, which happened just west of East Colfax Avenue and North Laredo Street, according to police, who released details about the crash at about 4:30 a.m.
The pedestrian, who died at the scene, has not been identified.
Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash, police said. The man was driving a two-door coupe.
The investigation is ongoing.
