Aurora police announced Saturday they arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting at Town Center at Aurora that left a 17-year-old dead.
18-year-old Kamyl Xavier Garrette has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Nathan Poindexter on Friday, Aurora police said.
Police received calls about the shooting at 4 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, officers found Poindexter with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
