The Colorado Symphony gets magical
Friday-Sunday. When John Williams composed the score to the “Harry Potter” films, he created what would become one of the most iconic movie soundtracks of the 21st century — and thanks to the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, you can experience Williams’ score live without having to figure out that whole Platform 9¾ situation. This weekend, the Colorado Symphony will perform the score to “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” live while the movie screens on four 20-foot-tall screens above the performers, which means all 2,700 seats within Boettcher Concert Hall should have the perfect view of the second-to-last Harry Potter film. Pro tip: Stick around for the credits. Tickets for the all-ages shows (7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday) run $15-$94.
