Skiers and boarders can expect a dusting of fresh snow in the mountains Saturday, while Denver warms up after a frigid morning.
Light snow will accumulate in the high country this afternoon, with 2 to 5 inches expected, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The real snow, however, will hit the northern mountains near the Wyoming border, where up to 10 inches are possible.
While temperatures in Denver started in the teens Saturday morning, the sun will warm things up and highs are expected to hit 50 degrees.
Light snow for the mountains, with 2-5" through Sunday, up to 10" near Wyoming. Also 30-50 mph gusts. The plains will be a bit warmer.
