Hotchkiss was a force in the post, grabbing 66.7 of all rebounds and swatting six shots in their 58-6 victory over Caprock Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Hotchkiss was lead in scoring by Vianney Mendoza who scored 14 points while also grabbing four rebounds. Shay Glaser and Elsie Vazquez also had notable games contributing 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
Caprock Academy was paced in scoring by Sophia Knaysi who scored four points. Katie Fry had a productive night, scoring two points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Hotchkiss heading to play West Grand and Caprock Academy taking on Meeker.
