La Veta was lead in scoring by Emalee Ortibez who put up 11 points while also recording four rebounds and three assists. Mary Goins had a notable night, recording nine points, three rebounds and three assists.
Manzanola was paced in scoring by Heaven Martinez who accounted for 21 points while grabbing five rebounds. Emma Martinez helped by chipping in nine points and five rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with La Veta heading to play Cotopaxi and Manzanola taking on Sierra Grande.
