
Mitchell narrowly won over the Woodland Park Panthers in a 57-55 game on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Mitchell was lead in scoring by Leroy Pruitt who put up 12 points while also recording eight rebounds and one assist. John Wusstig and Tarves Washington also had productive outings contributing 10 points each.
Woodland Park was paced in scoring by Joey Babin who accounted for 20 points, while also collecting two rebounds and three assists. Markus Eiselein helped by chipping in 17 points and three rebounds.
Next up for each team, Woodland Park will play host to Elizabeth, while Mitchell will travel to play Canon City.
