Mountain Vista owned the paint, grabbing 60.3 of all rebounds and swatting four shot attempts in their 76-47 victory over Castle View on Thursday.
Mountain Vista was lead in scoring by Ben Bowen who accounted for 23 points while also collecting eight rebounds and three assists. Reece Kelly recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Castle View was lead in scoring by Caleb Hanchett who accounted for 12 points while collecting six rebounds. David McKean and Casey Jacobsen also had solid games contributing six points each.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Mountain Vista hosting Chaparral and Castle View taking on Legend.
