The Prospect Ridge Academy Miners earned a win when they defeated the Manual Thunderbolts 52-38 on Thursday.
Prospect Ridge Academy was paced in scoring by Jocelyn Korbe who put up 14 points while also collecting 10 rebounds and five assists. Faith Hernandez had a respectable night, recording 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Manual was lead in scoring by Jacqueline Salazar-alvarez who scored 19 points, while also collecting eight rebounds and three assists. Rose Watson recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Prospect Ridge Academy hosting Kent Denver and Manual taking on Faith Christian.
