The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds easily put away the Cotopaxi Pirates by a score of 60-35 on Friday.
Sangre de Cristo was paced in scoring by Cole Christensen who put up 13 points while also collecting seven rebounds and five assists. Mario Enriquez helped the effort by contributing 11 points and eight rebounds.
Cotopaxi was paced in scoring by Chance Gulliford who accounted for nine points while collecting eight rebounds. Ty Coleman and Peter Belt also had productive performances contributing nine points each.
Cotopaxi will play host to La Veta, while Sangre de Cristo will travel to play Antonito.
