Shining Mountain earned a win when they defeated Belleview Christian 36-24 on Thursday.
Lola Conaway lead Shining Mountain with 15 points scored while also grabbing four rebounds. Kalea Zeender recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Belleview Christian was paced in scoring by Sara Torres who accounted for 11 points, while also recording six rebounds and two assists. Bethany Long and Lexie Ewing also had solid games contributing four points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Shining Mountain heading to play Beth Eden Baptist and Belleview Christian taking on Flatirons Academy.
