The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds easily handled Antonito by a score of 72-29 on Saturday.
Sangre de Cristo was paced in scoring by Kylee Christensen who accounted for 16 points while also recording three assists. Ashley Mortensen helped by contributing 12 points and two rebounds.
Antonito was paced in scoring by Shiinei Tallman who accounted for 14 points, while also collecting 13 rebounds and one assist. Shandiin Tallman had a solid night, recording eight points, eight rebounds and one assist.
Next up for each team, Sangre de Cristo will play host to La Veta, while Antonito will travel to play Sierra Grande.
