D’Evelyn was hot from beyond the arc, drilling 40% of their shots but ultimately lost 63-50 to Wheat Ridge on Friday.
Dominic Bronk lead Wheat Ridge with 18 points scored while also recording 10 rebounds and three assists. Alex Morales had a solid night, recording 17 points, one rebound and one assist.
D’Evelyn was paced in scoring by Luke Kjellsen who scored 11 points, while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Tom Lockhart and Sandy Dinegar also had solid performances contributing eight points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Wheat Ridge heading to play Ralston Valley and D’Evelyn taking on Golden.
