The Lakewood Tigers easily defeated the Dakota Ridge Eagles by a score of 56-36 on Friday.
Nadia Trevizo-Medina lead Lakewood with 23 points scored while also collecting seven rebounds and two assists. Aaliyah Sabala helped by chipping in eight points, two rebounds, and four assists.
Dakota Ridge was paced in scoring by Wakinyela Bear who put up 11 points, while also recording six rebounds and one assist. Sydnie Thornton aided the effort by contributing five points and three rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Lakewood heading to play Arvada West and Dakota Ridge taking on Cherry Creek.
