The Platte Valley Broncos narrowly lost to the Northridge Grizzlies in a 63-61 showdown on Saturday.
Northridge was lead in scoring by Mckenna Cone who put up 23 points. Karly Beck aided the effort by contributing 18 points.
Platte Valley was lead in scoring by Brooke Bunting who put up 22 points, while also collecting 10 rebounds and five assists. Andi Schissler had a respectable night, recording 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Northridge heading to play Centaurus and Platte Valley taking on Liberty Common.
