Chaparral could not overcome George Washington in 53-46 loss on Monday.
George Washington was paced in scoring by Jaida Redwine who accounted for 13 points while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Maya Whiteside recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
In their next games, Chaparral will play host to Castle View, while George Washington will travel to play Kennedy.
