Gateway dominated the interior, snagging 73.9 of all rebounds and swatting eight shots in their 81-47 win over Hinkley on Friday.
Gateway was lead in scoring by Dj Wilson who put up 31 points while also collecting 10 rebounds. Nolan Robinson and Maliq Alford also had good games contributing 20 points and 11 points, respectively.
Hinkley was lead in scoring by Jeremiah Warren who scored 14 points while collecting three rebounds. Jeremiah Taylor had a good night, scoring nine points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Gateway heading to play Aurora Central and Hinkley taking on Prairie View.
