Arvada West dominated from beyond the arc, hitting 12 threes in their 78-69 win over Pomona on Friday.
Josh Yago lead Arvada West with 29 points scored while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Israel Brewer recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Pomona was paced in scoring by Trevor Baskin who put up 24 points while collecting 17 rebounds. Cole Stevens had a productive night, recording 17 points.
In their next games, Pomona will play host to Chatfield, while Arvada West will travel to play ThunderRidge.
