The Loveland Indians narrowly lost to the Thornton Trojans in a 62-59 game on Saturday.

Alfonso Salais lead Thornton with 22 points scored while also recording nine rebounds and four assists. JR William recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 17 rebounds.

Loveland was lead in scoring by Zack Rakowsky who accounted for 18 points, while also recording six rebounds and four assists. Keenan Rykovich and Jadyn Tafoya also had good performances contributing 15 points and 11 points, respectively.

Next up for each team, Thornton will stay home and play Prairie View, while Loveland will travel to play Rocky Mountain.
