Mountain Vista was a force in the post, grabbing 62.3 of all rebounds and swatting four shot attempts in their 74-65 win over Chaparral on Saturday.
Reece Kelly lead Mountain Vista with 28 points scored while also recording 11 rebounds and three assists. Ben Bowen had a good night, recording 20 points, five rebounds and one assist.
Chaparral was paced in scoring by Kobe Sanders who put up 27 points, while also recording two rebounds and five assists. Aaron Jacob and Jeremiah Coleman also had respectable outings contributing 10 points each.
Chaparral will play host to Castle View, while Mountain Vista will travel to play Fountain-Fort Carson.
