The Gilpin County Eagles narrowly lost to the Denver Christian Crusaders in a 50-46 contest on Tuesday.

Denver Christian was lead in scoring by Sophie Bull who scored 16 points while also collecting six rebounds. Kara Amidon helped by chipping in 15 points.

Gilpin County was lead in scoring by Skyley Ramsey who accounted for 11 points, while also collecting six rebounds and five assists. Jessica Wilhelm had a notable night, scoring 10 points.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Denver Christian hosting Heritage Christian and Gilpin County taking on Twin Peaks Charter Academy.
