The Sterling Tigers earned a win when they defeated the Strasburg Indians 54-40 on Tuesday.
Sterling was paced in scoring by Jaden Newson who accounted for 15 points while also collecting seven rebounds and two assists. Jasmine Cardona aided the effort by contributing 11 points and four rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Sterling hosting Lamar and Strasburg taking on Valley.
