Grand Valley could not overcome Moffat County in 44-34 loss on Friday, Jan. 24.

Moffat County was paced in scoring by Emaleigh Papierski who accounted for 13 points while also collecting 11 rebounds. Cayden King had a respectable night, recording 11 points, six rebounds and two assists.

Grand Valley was lead in scoring by Taygann Schoeppner who put up nine points, while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Kirstin Medina had a notable night, scoring eight points.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Moffat County heading to play Cedaredge and Grand Valley taking on Aspen.
