Merino could not keep up with Holly, fall 38-26 on Friday.

Alison Woodhams lead Sedgwick County with 14 points scored while also collecting six rebounds and two assists. Ashley Rahe aided the effort by contributing nine points.

Merino was lead in scoring by Taysa Conger who put up 10 points, while also collecting 14 rebounds and two assists. Hannah Pejsa-Stegner had a good night, recording five points, two rebounds and three assists.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Sedgwick County heading to play Yuma and Merino taking on Limon.
