The Columbine Rebels narrowly won over Doherty in a 41-39 showdown on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Columbine was paced in scoring by Luke O’Brien who accounted for 16 points while also recording 16 rebounds and four assists. Justin Lohrenz had a solid night, recording 13 points.
Doherty was lead in scoring by Schafer Reichart who put up 11 points, while also recording five rebounds and four assists. Lucas Moerman helped the effort by chipping in 10 points and nine rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Columbine heading to play Pomona and Doherty taking on Rampart.
