
Westminster had a field day from three-point land, hitting nine threes in their 85-71 win over Thornton on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Westminster was paced in scoring by Seneca Brewer who scored 22 points while also collecting seven rebounds and two assists. Jesse Carrillo aided the effort by contributing 16 points and six rebounds.
Thornton was paced in scoring by Alfonso Salais who put up 17 points, while also recording two rebounds and one assist. JR William recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Westminster heading to play Gateway and Thornton taking on Vista PEAK Prep.
