St. Mary’s owned the paint, grabbing 64.6 of all rebounds and swatting six shots in their 78-28 win over Ellicott on Friday, Jan. 31.
Sam Howery lead St. Mary’s with 17 points scored while also recording eight rebounds and five assists. Andon Mindrup recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Ellicott was lead in scoring by Kaleb Mondragon who scored eight points, while also collecting one rebound and one assist. Chris Jones aided the effort by contributing five points, six rebounds, and two assists.
In their next games, St. Mary’s will play host to Colorado Springs Christian, while Ellicott will travel to play Florence.
