The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers easily put away the Monte Vista Pirates by a score of 50-22 on Friday, Jan. 31.

Paige Yarbrough lead Montezuma-Cortez with 13 points scored while also collecting six rebounds. Myra Simmons helped the effort by chipping in 11 points.

Monte Vista was lead in scoring by Mareh Medina who scored five points. Lindsey Ortiz helped the effort by contributing four points.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Montezuma-Cortez hosting Pagosa Springs and Monte Vista taking on Alamosa.
