The Soroco Rams defeated the Paonia Eagles by a score of 59-54 on Saturday.
Liam Yaconiello lead Soroco with 24 points scored while also collecting 11 rebounds. Jesse Koler had a solid night, recording 14 points, three rebounds and one assist.
Paonia was paced in scoring by Kyle Long who scored 14 points. Logan Green helped the effort by contributing nine points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Soroco heading to play Hotchkiss and Paonia taking on Vail Christian.
