The Pueblo West Cyclones easily defeated the Pueblo East Eagles by a score of 63-24 on Monday.
Hannah Simental lead Pueblo West with 19 points scored while also collecting four rebounds and three assists. Marissa Leyva aided the effort by chipping in 11 points and three rebounds.
Pueblo East was lead in scoring by Grace Helzer who accounted for six points. Harlie Medrano and Jaylene Escajeda also had notable games contributing four points each.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Pueblo West hosting Pueblo South and Pueblo East taking on Pueblo County.
