The Manzanola Bobcats narrowly won over the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles in a 65-62 showdown on Tuesday.
Manzanola was paced in scoring by Blake Williams who accounted for 22 points while also recording 11 rebounds and three assists. Axel Escareno had a productive night, recording 20 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Pikes Peak Christian was lead in scoring by Ethan Moore who accounted for 18 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Ben Schneider aided the effort by contributing 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
In their next games, Manzanola will stay home and play Sangre de Cristo, while Pikes Peak Christian will travel to play Thomas MacLaren School.
