Doherty narrowly lost to the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans in a 50-48 game on Tuesday.
Fountain-Fort Carson was paced in scoring by Torie Bass who scored 22 points while also collecting three rebounds and five assists. Carolynn Dail helped the effort by chipping in 11 points and three rebounds.
Doherty was lead in scoring by Taryn Lindsey who accounted for 15 points, while also collecting three rebounds and four assists. Taylor Corsi recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Doherty will stay home and play Legend, while Fountain-Fort Carson will travel to play Coronado.
