Kochavi’s double-double lifts Denver Jewish Day over Lotus School For Excellence in 49-48 victory

Lotus School For Excellence made their presence felt from downtown, sinking nine threes but ultimately lost 49-48 to Denver Jewish Day on Tuesday.

Denver Jewish Day was lead in scoring by Jon Kochavi who put up 16 points while also collecting six rebounds and one assist. Eitan Kochavi recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 17 rebounds.

Lotus School For Excellence was paced in scoring by Adani Hassan who scored 12 points, while also collecting three rebounds and three assists. Kidus Begashaw and Anwar Hussein also had respectable games contributing 12 points and 10 points, respectively.

Looking ahead to their next games, Denver Jewish Day will stay home and play Flatirons Academy, while Lotus School For Excellence will travel to play Loveland Classical.
