The Cherokee Trail Cougars easily put away the Overland Trailblazers by a score of 65-40 on Wednesday.
Cherokee Trail was lead in scoring by Makayla Hemingway who accounted for 22 points while also recording nine rebounds and five assists. Dominique Rodriguez recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Cherokee Trail heading to play Mullen and Overland taking on Grandview.
