Elizabeth made their presence felt from downtown, hitting eight treys in their 69-60 victory over Woodland Park on Wednesday.

Elizabeth was lead in scoring by Sam Speicher who accounted for 16 points while also collecting eight rebounds and four assists. Tyson Griffin helped by chipping in 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Woodland Park was paced in scoring by Vaughn Rea who accounted for 22 points. Hunter Peel helped the effort by chipping in 12 points.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Elizabeth heading to play Widefield and Woodland Park taking on Canon City.
