Adams City drops contest to Westminster in 60-45 loss on Thursday.
Westminster was lead in scoring by Marina Boltz who put up 15 points while also collecting three rebounds and two assists. Valerie Gallegos recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Adams City was paced in scoring by Jay Jones who accounted for 15 points, while also recording seven rebounds and two assists. RayAnn Negrete had a notable night, scoring eight points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Westminster heading to play Prairie View and Adams City taking on Hinkley.
