The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds earned a win when they defeated the Manzanola Bobcats 67-58 on Friday.
Sangre de Cristo was paced in scoring by Cole Christensen who put up 23 points while also collecting seven rebounds and seven assists. Leighton Curtis helped the effort by contributing 18 points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Manzanola was paced in scoring by Blake Williams who scored 23 points, while also recording six rebounds and six assists. Dalton Carroll helped the effort by chipping in 11 points, two rebounds, and three assists.
Sangre de Cristo will play host to Salida, while Manzanola will travel to play Creede.
