
Gunnison easily handled the Grand Valley Cardinals by a score of 74-51 on Friday, Feb. 14.
Hunter Wood lead Gunnison with 26 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. Aidan Hulbert and Quentin Richter also had good performances contributing 18 points and 16 points, respectively.
Grand Valley was paced in scoring by Alex Cornejo who put up 13 points while collecting two rebounds. Kade Paulson had a solid night, scoring 11 points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Grand Valley will stay home and play Cedaredge, while Gunnison will travel to play Hotchkiss.
