Elbert drops game to Shining Mountain in 53-45 loss on Saturday.
Shining Mountain was lead in scoring by Elijah Hanzlik who put up 33 points while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Calder Nadelson had a notable night, recording eight points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Elbert was paced in scoring by Joey Cornell who scored 16 points while grabbing five rebounds. Jhett Alapia recorded a double-double, scoring 16 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Shining Mountain hosting Mile High Academy and Elbert taking on Flatirons Academy.
